Whether you’re an ambitious alpinist, casual hiker, or family with small children – in the hiking area around the majestic 2,781m Punta Cervina/Hirzer mountain, there is just the right challenge for everyone!
Biking
Your apartment at the Hohenegg is the ideal starting point for various cycling and mountain bike tours. Hop on your bike and explore the most beautiful places and viewpoints in the Sarntal mountains directly from the front door. Cycle up the steep mountain roads or test your skills on the various trail routes in the surrounding hiking areas. Those looking for an adrenaline rush are also in the right place. Mike’s Bike Park is 1.5 hectares and awaits you with four-cross and dirt tracks, a pump track, and a practise pit filled with foam cubes. Bikes and protective gear can be rented directly on site.
Riding
Is there anything more magical than riding a horse? Hop on, grab the reins, and ride atop a mild-mannered Haflinger horse across the idyllic natural landscape of Sarntal. Countless riding stables in the area not only offer you and your children guided rides but also teach beginners how to ride with a lot of patience, experience, and empathy.
